David is president of The Association of Power Producers of Ontario, quite the mouthful. During our shoot, we had a diverting and educational conversation on the various different methods Ontario uses to produce its power for the entire province. Things I learned: we’re phasing out coal power, but most forms of power generation have their strengths and weaknesses, and are ideal for certain situations but not others. “It’s like having stable of horses”, I was told, “you have draught horses for heavy pulling and you’ve got race horses for racing.” When turning on my flash units, David mused: “Electricity at work.” Truer words.
